Book Study: Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain
About this event
This year’s book study will engage with Zaretta Hammond’s canonical text Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain.
- October 4, 2025 through April 6, 2026.
- Meetings are held once a month
- Virtual and in-person attendance options
- Led by the 2025-2026 EdCo Teacher Leaders
In addition to monthly discussions, participants will be invited to engage more actively with the text, committing to action research steps, geared toward implementing Hammond’s teaching in their own classrooms.
