Conference

EdCampNash

EdCo’s annual outreach event and teacher-driven unconference—where participants, not presenters, bring the expertise.

  • A teacher-centered, collaborative space where educators connect across school types
  • Workshop sessions co-created by attendees to reflect current and relevant topics
  • Attendees leave with renewed energy and practical strategies for their own classrooms

Collective Conference

A teacher-driven event that showcases the innovative lessons and classroom-tested practices developed by EdCo Member-teachers via cross-sector collaboration.

  • Workshops designed for teachers, by teachers
  • Shares ready-to-use resources for all settings with all teaching attendees
  • Spreads effective teaching practices between sectors to strengthen academic outcomes

Summer Workshop

A weeklong event of cross-sector collaboration, reflection, and learning protocols alongside fellow teachers that results in EdCo Membership.

  • Centers teacher voice, curiosity, and professional identity
  • A safe space for educators to connect, innovate, and explore their practice
  • Teachers graduate into a trustworthy network of colleagues with a collaborative mindset

EdCo Exchange

EdCo Membership Required

Brings on-demand, customized support directly into classrooms and schools—when Member-teachers need it most.

  • Member-teachers request targeted, in-class support that EdCo fulfills onsite
  • Teacher-designed, teacher-led model ensures support is practical and relevant
  • Normalizes teacher-initiated, rapid-response collaboration in Nashville schools

Teacher-Leader Consultants

EdCo Membership Required

A pathway for Member-teachers to share and receive expertise beyond their own classrooms—without leaving the profession themselves.

  • Teacher-driven instructional leadership
  • Supplies Member-teachers with expertise that may be unavailable in their school
  • Spreads expertise for student betterment across Nashville at no cost to schools

Study Groups

EdCo Membership Required

A seminar series for Member-teachers to study their craft in a communal setting that is grounded in practice.

  • Time, space, and materials dedicated for study
  • A supportive community where teachers engage in deep study
  • Participants explore texts then set practical goals for application
