Melissa Campbell

Melissa Campbell is currently the owner and co-curator of “Locals”, an art gallery in Sewanee, Tennessee. She has worked in professional sports, arts and entertainment since 1983.

Much of Melissa’s work has been based in the music industry as a Publicity Director handling Tour Press, Record Releases and Tour Advance. Her work has also included working media in International Crisis Cases.

During nine of her 25+ years, Melissa served as Publicist and Consultant in support of her favorite non-profits, Challenge Aspen, Challenge America and Challenge America Military Opportunities (CAMO), each dedicated to year-round adaptive experiences for those with cognitive and/or physical disabilities.

“I continue to be amazed and encouraged by the work and mission of EdCo. I can attest to the authentic concern for like-minded colleagues who work together to find solutions and who love their job and their students. I enjoy being on the board of EdCo and getting to hear about all the accomplishments of the work. I enjoy watching educators light up when they’re offered support. EdCo underlines the need for compassionate, informed teachers who find energy by connecting to find new ways to care for their students. That mission encourages me.” – Melissa Campbell Goodson
