Becky is now teaching both at Peabody College and the College of Arts & Sciences.

With 20+ years of work experience in professional education, her desire to support pre-service teachers, in-service teachers and language learning is clear. 

Becky focuses on cultivating strong partnerships between the university and surrounding school systems and prepares pre-service teachers to bridge theory and practice as they approach student teaching and their eventual classroom spaces.  

She has also served as the president of the Tennessee World Language Teachers’ Association which supports language education at all levels throughout the state.
