Isbel Salgueiro

Isbel is an eighth grade English teacher at Harding Academy.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Isbel has bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s. in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida International University.

She taught fourth grade at an International Baccalaureate school in Miami, discovering her passion for interdisciplinary teaching.

Afterwards, she served as a teacher and curriculum coordinator at different Miami institutions, Isbel joined Visible Thinking South Florida until relocating to Nashville in 2022.

In 2023, she attended her first EdCo event, EdCampNash, and later joined the EdCo Summer Workshop. Isbel is proud to serve EdCo as a Member of the Advisory Committee.
