Natalie Sessoms

Mission Coordinator

Natalie helps bring the EdCo’s purpose and values to life by creating a warm, welcoming spirit at events, fostering community connections, and ensuring every gathering reflects the organization’s values. She shapes the “vibe” of community-facing events, board introductions, and donor stewardship—making people feel included, inspired, and eager to engage with the mission.

As a former teacher, she has been absorbing and executing equitable practices among multiracial, multicultural, multiethnic, multilingual, and economically diverse populations, for 9+ years. For which, she was recognized as a Teachers 4 Equity fellow.

Natalie graduated from The University of Tennessee with degrees in Art History and Urban Multicultural Elementary Education, and then a MS degree in Teacher Education.

Starting as a lower elementary teacher with Metro Nashville Public Schools, she focused her teaching on galvanizing her school community to create more equitable outcomes for students, and now continues that work in her role at EdCo.
