Rosalie Shays
Rosalie Says is a sixth grade EL math teacher at Thurgood Marshall Middle School.
She earned her bachelor’s in Psychology and Education with elementary teacher licensure from Mount Holyoke College in 2016. Pursuing her interest in international education systems, she spent a semester teaching English through the Marina Orth Foundation in El Carmen de Viboral, Colombia.
In 2018, she moved to Nashville to obtain her master’s of education in Learning and Design from Vanderbilt University and received her EL certification from Lipscomb University in 2023.
She joined EdCo’s Advisory Committee in 2023
- 2016-2017 Fulbright English Teacher Assistant in Lampang, Thailand
- 2018 won a Stephen H. Davol Fellowship for graduate study in developmental psychology.
